Event Services

We can supply services and entertainment for almost any event, below are examples of just some of the events we can organise.

SHOOTING AND TARGET ACTIVITIES

Archery
With our long bows, they are powerful enough to be very accurate and light enough for most people and most ages to use. We shoot over a reasonable distance to give everyone a real sense of achievement when they hit the target and more often than not, there are plenty of bull’s eyes.

Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting
Not quite the same as the real thing, but more competitive whereby you can have up to 5 people shooting from one stand, at the same time. They can see who shoots the fastest or simply who shoots the target the most times. Again slightly different than the other shooting disciplines and great fun.. The shooting layout is designed to be possible for novices and yet challenging for more experienced shooters.

Crossbow Shooting
Coupled with Archery shooting, guests will have the opportunity to try their hand at Crossbow shooting from various distances. Budding Robin Hood’s can show off their skills in this section of the morning. More powerful than archery and much more accurate, these new versions of ancient weapons really do take your breath away.

Clay Pigeon Shooting
This gives everyone a real sense of what shooting is like. As much by using your instincts as aiming, everyone gets a buzz from seeing the clays explode from a direct hit. Cost on application

Air Rifle Shooting
Target shooting at its simplest and best. State of the art pneumatic air rifles. Simply by cocking the bolt, the gun is ready for your next shot at the 'bull's-eye', and the telescopic sight will enable you to pick your precise point of aim each time.

Field Archery
Travel back 1200 years to simulate a hunt for food. After Participants have been taught to fire a high-powered bow by the European champion in this sport, they will move onto the range area marked out in wooded or open land. At various positions on the range, participants will come across a 3D replica animal. Participants will have a number of chances to hit each life sized replica as firing will take place from pegs which are located at stages closer and closer to the target.

Something Different

Fly-Casting
An engaging and unusual activity: guests have the opportunity to be taught the secrets of fly casting by a professional ghillie before taking the rod and having a go at casting onto balloons – each worth a different score. An exciting and non-strenuous activity.

Ariel Surveillance
Taking to the skies in a helicopter has to be one of the biggest thrill rides, but it is not about just sitting back, relaxing and taking in the superb Countryside! Whilst flying high guests will be tasked with correctly answering aerial clues, they must provide photographic evidence of completion using digital cameras as well as providing an indication of their creativity as a team.

Duck Herding
This is an extremely popular and entertaining activity, which combines teamwork, communication skills and patience. The format is very similar to traditional sheep herding, but you have to control the sheepdogs to manoeuvre ducks around the course instead! Naturally, your colleagues will take great delight in seeing you struggle, but the sense of achievement on completing the task will be worth it! C

Falconry
This age-old activity provides guests with a unique insight into a field sport that is both graceful and exciting. An instructor will provide a demonstration before guests have the opportunity to take up the challenge of donning a gauntlet and actually taking part! This is an ideal contrast to some of the more traditional sports such as archery and crossbows. Cost from £1120.00 + VAT

Axe Throwing
How good are your throwing skills? We will instruct you on how to throw that axe as if you mean it! You’ll use mediaeval throwing axes, the kind that used to be used in battle during the Middle Ages. But don’t worry we’ll only encourage you to hit our own targets!

Human Table Football
Table football with a difference. The pitch is surrounded by a 50’ long & 30’ wide inflatable wall, with goal mouths at each end. Players are then harnessed to the bars running across the pitch. Each team has to score as many goals & concede as few as goals as possible in the allotted time.

Motorized Activities

Blindfold Driving
Relying upon your navigator, you will negotiate a course whilst blind folded. It is surprising how easily a blindfold can make you lose your sense of direction.

Quad Bikes
Expert tuition will ensure guests get the most from their own 250cc Bike. Following introductions, and briefing, guests will take the controls of these powerful vehicles and put them to the test around a specially designed course that challenges both rider and machine.

Power-Turns
The Power-Turn have two wheels mounted mid-height on the back which you use to keep yourself suspended in a wheelie as you drive. Both Speed and control are combined in this activity, and in addition to that it is powered by two engines, one on each side, which presents more of a challenge.

Mini-digging
Take control of your own mini-digger. The 5 levers offering 15 differing actions (and a few foot pedals to make things even more fun) learning to control these machines is guaranteed to make everyone watching laugh – but then it’s their turn! A very popular and much requested option.

Reverse Steer Vehicle
Sounds easy, but confuses even the most competent driver! Steer it left it goes right, and vice versa, through a flagged course.

Max II ATV’s - MaxKats
These buggies are extremely popular. 6 wheel drive off-road machines, most recently described as “moulded plastic pond liners with wheels”! Very rare in the corporate market, they achieve the objective of providing something different. They are skid steer and powerful, capable of travelling over most terrain, including water, and with instructors sitting in with the drivers, are very safe.

Motortrikes
We hold the patent for these machines, a cross between a kart and a pilot; they are three wheeled vehicles with a partial roll cage. Easily operated by foot controls, they are great fun to drive. Can you keep our Mototrikes on the track without knocking down any course markers!! Cost on application

Hovercraft
While go-karting, you would normally hit the brakes or slide the go-kart when you approach a sharp corner. Not so in a hovercraft – you don’t have any brakes! You cannot stay on the throttle and slide around a corner, you will keep going straight on!

Tank Driving
A day of driving tanks and military vehicles can combine to make the perfect corporate event. We can deliver a huge range of vehicles from Ferret Scouts & Armoured Personnel Carriers to Chieftain & Saracen Tanks. Cost on application (off site) Please note there may be additional charges for ground hire.

Grand Prix
Nowhere else can you drive such a variety of performance vehicles, experience all the thrills both on and off the track and have it all culminate in a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to drive the world famous Grand Prix circuit at Silverstone.

The group are divided into equal teams. They are due to meet with their Uncle Quentin, a scientist working on a Top Secret government project. While enjoying tea and cakes a hysterical maid runs into the room to inform everyone that Uncle Quentin has been murdered! Each team is given a map of the area, a Polaroid camera for evidence, team shots and a folder of clues, conundrums and Top Secret documents.
